How do I let you know which kitties I would like?

When the Kickstarter has ended, and payments have been collected, we will begin to send out surveys that give you the chance to tell us exactly which kitties you would like.

We aren’t able to record which ones you would like until the survey, and the survey usually is released within about a week after the Kickstarter.

When will I be charged for the Reward I have selected?

You will not be charged for the Reward until the Kickstarter campaign ends on May 6th. Sometimes you will see an authorization on your account, but it should go away within a couple of days. If it doesn’t be sure to call your bank.

We will also send a reminder a couple of days before the end of the campaign to remind you to check to make sure your card number is right, and that you have funds in the account.

When does production begin?

Production will begin after we receive funds from Kickstarter. It takes 14 days before we will have funds deposited, but we will be ready to press “go” on production immediately.

Production has 2 parts.

Part one is material sourcing. It takes about 3 weeks to order and receive all of the materials used to create the kitties.

Part two is sewing and packaging. It usually takes another three weeks for the kitties to be sewn, packaged, and prepared for their voyage home.

Sometimes there can be a delay in the start of production for different reasons, but we don’t anticipate any delays. If we run into a delay, we’ll update you and let you know =^-^=

Shipping Updates

Current Estimated Shipping Date: October 2020

They are almost here! We have everything coming along smoothly. Looks like we will be getting the kitties any day now. It's going to take the warehouse team a few days to get everything arranged and ready for fulfillment so we are assuming we will be shipping no later than October 5th. This is just an estimate, more than likely we will start shipping earlier than that. For any of you who needs to update their address, you can head over to backer kit and update your survey. If you have trouble with it let me know, I can send you the link directly. In order to give our warehouse guys time to process everything, and for each of you to be able to have longer than 48 hours to update, I've posted on Kickstarter and on here. I will then send out the final notice for updates on Sunday, which will then lock all address changes on Tuesday. So excited everyone!!! ~John

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
